Senior Software Engineer who does front-end and back-end web development and with 5 years of experience building iOS and Android applications. Has been awarded the 2022 Outstanding Rookie Award by the current employer for being an outstanding performer, and for making immediate impacts on projects and deliverables, going above and beyond what was expected, despite being a fresh graduate at the time. Former Google Developer Student Club Lead, a position given by Google to outstanding students with excellent leadership skills once a year. Founded a student organization, Google Developer Student Club PHINMA UPang, that successfully organized multiple events that teach Google developer technologies. Been the resource speaker at tech events. Proficient in implementing Modular Domain Driven Design (Modular Architecture + Clean Architecture + Domain-Driven Design) and best development practices. On July 23, 2020, I was one of the 24 students in the Philippines selected by Google to be the Google Developer Student Club Lead for our respective campuses. I joined an amazing community of student leads who will be representing hundreds of colleges and universities across the globe. I believe that technology can do extraordinary things for the world, and I have taken on the responsibility to help students grow as developers and empower these students to impact their communities with technology. Through this experience, not only did I leave a legacy of impact, but also grew as an individual and contributed in a meaningful way to the greater developer ecosystem.
On August 29, 2020, I founded Google Developer Student Club PHINMA UPang. Powered by Google Developers, it is a group of students from PHINMA University of Pangasinan whose aim is to bridge the gap between theory and practical application for student developers. Together with the 1,266+ other GDSC chapters in 106 countries around the world, it is part of a global community that is supported by Google Developers. GDSC PHINMA UPang is also the only university-wide organization in PHINMA UPang that is officially recognized by Google. This community that I started successfully organized multiple events that helped aspiring developers get to know and learn the different Google developer technologies available to them.
This topic explores leveraging Flutter and Stream Chat SDK to develop real-time chat applications. It covers integrating Stream Chat SDK to Flutter projects, implementing messaging features, managing authentication, etc. Emphasis is on the simplicity of building feature-rich chat apps with Flutter and Stream Chat SDK.
Our goal is to ship features, not just build them. Learn how to generate framed app store screenshots in minutes, avoid the frustration of managing code signing identities, and automate your entire development and release processes. With the help of GitLab CI/CD and fastlane tools such as snapshot, match, and deliver, you can enjoy a good drink, while the computer does all the work for you.
During this talk, I discussed how to use Bootstrap and JavaScript, one of the most popular scripting languages used today. Then with the limited time remaining, I demoed how to build a simple web browser game from scratch using these technologies. I also answered some career-related questions from the audience.
We went over a high level view of Firebase, what it is, and what it can do. I discussed each of the surprising number of tools available (almost 20 different products) within Firebase, including a few new ones that were released at the Firebase Dev Summit in Madrid in September 2020. This talk happened during the Firebase in Action event.
As the Founder, CEO, President, and Google DSC Lead of GDSC PHINMA UPang, I introduced that our chapter, together with the 1,266+ other GDSC chapters worldwide, is part of a global community that is supported by Google Developers and officially recognized by Google.
